Dow Credit Union is happy to provide you a variety of services to simplify your financial life:

Direct Deposit or Automated Payroll Deposit – Don't wait in a teller line to deposit a payroll check! We'll make it easy for you to arrange to have your employer send your net payroll check amount to your credit union savings or checking account. You may choose a specific amount to be deducted or have the entire check deposited! Definite convenience! Just call us to start the process.

24-hour Audio Response Service – You may check your account balance and transfer funds between your accounts from any phone. Just call our main number, select option 2 and follow the automated prompts. The Audio Response direct toll-free number is 800-806-7921.

ATM Locations through the CO-OP Network of ATMs – Dow Credit Union members have free access to more than 28,000 CO-OP Network ATMs across the U.S. and Canada. These are located at 5,500 7-Eleven stores and at participating credit unions. As a member, you have free access to these ATMs marked with the CO-OP logo. This means there will be no fee from us and no fee from the ATM owner! This network is larger than what the largest banks provide. Many locations allow deposits as well as withdrawals. So, wherever you may move to or travel to, your credit union accounts are close by. To locate an ATM near you, click the ‘Locator’ tab at http://www.co-opfs.org/b2c-homepage/ .

ATM Locations outside the Network – When you must use an ATM outside the large CO-OP Network, remember that your first three non-CO-OP ATM cash withdrawals are free. After that we will access your account $1 for each subsequent cash withdrawal. Please note: many financial institutions outside the CO-OP Network will assess a separate surcharge for use of their ATMs.

VISA Debit/ATM Card – With your credit union Debit/ATM Card you can make unlimited account inquiries and unlimited transfers between your credit union accounts at any Dow Credit Union ATM or CO-OP Network ATM.

VISA Debit Card – You may also make purchases with your Debit Card anywhere you see the VISA logo, and online. Using your Debit Card is a convenient—and safer—way to shop without carrying a checkbook with you. Your personal identification number (PIN) protects against misuse of your card. Remember to check your statement monthly for any unauthorized use and notify us immediately if you have any concerns. To report a lost or stolen card, call our main number during regular business hours. After hours, call 800-472-3272.

Home Banking – Use our secure online banking system, called Virtual Branch, to do your banking from the comfort of home or office. Virtual Branch gives you have access to two programs - BankIT or PayIT. BankIT allows you to access your balance information, transfer funds and obtain account history information on any of your credit union accounts. With PayIT, you can pay your bills from your checking account and obtain payment history. Do either anytime or anywhere from any PC!

Prepaid Travel Cards and Foreign Currency

Planning to travel outside the U.S. and need foreign currency? We can help. You may obtain a prepaid travel money card in our branch or order one online to be delivered to your home. You also have the option of ordering foreign currency online that will be delivered to your home as well.

Cash Passport MasterCard Travel Money Cards - You may purchase Travelex Cash Passport travel money cards from the Credit Union. These prepaid travel money cards are a convenient and more secure way to carry foreign currency, so you can leave your Debit card or other charge cards safely at home when you are on vacation or business. A purchase fee does apply to each card.

Preload your travel card with $200-$8,500. Cards purchased in one of our branches may be cashed out for the remaining balance upon your return, or for a nominal fee, cards may also be reloaded.
Use the card in ATMs to obtain local currency. An ATM fee applies.
Pay for purchases everywhere you see the MasterCard logo. Type in your PIN or sign the receipt.

My Travel Wallet Online Services - If you are unable to come into a branch, or if you prefer to have some foreign currency on your trip in addition to a prepaid travel money card, you may use the My Travel Wallet service to order what you need online and your order will be delivered to your home. Please note that travel money cards purchased online cannot be cashed out or reloaded. You will also have the option of purchasing foreign currency, and will need to pay for your order with a debit or credit card. Click here for the online My Travel Wallet services.

Auto Purchase Network – Dow Credit Union is a participating member of the Auto Purchase Network -- a free service of the Independent Fleet Managers Association (IFMA). Save money on the your next car purchase by using IFMA to eliminate the hassle, the middlemen and hidden fees and use your credit union to get the most competitive car loan rates.

CUDL – Credit Union Direct Lending – Buy a car at one of the many dealers displaying the CUDL logo and tell the dealer you wish to finance the loan through Dow Great Western Credit Union. No need for you to make a separate trip to the credit union. These authorized dealers can take your membership application as well to expedite your auto loan application. Extra convenience and simplicity for you!
